Sony Launches Pan-European Storage Automation Campaign

October 26 2005 – Sony Electronics has appointed Gyro International, the integrated brand communications agency, to undertake a major pan-European campaign to raise awareness of its award winning storage automation solutions.

Sony will be targeting the IT Channel (both resellers and distributors) as well as end users across the UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain. The campaign started on the 23rd of October.

Gyro has developed a fully integrated campaign which will include e-shots, online and direct mail and focuses on Sony’s heritage in storage solutions and its brand reputation.

Gyro is developing a co-branded direct mail programme with 25 of Sony’s resellers across the campaign countries. The company will also be hosting end user direct mail and e-shot templates on the Sony Partner Portal which Gyro branded and launched in April of this year.

The campaign coincides with a recent award that Sony has received for its CSM-20 autoloader product.
