Senior Management Appointments
9 November 2006 – Gyro International, the integrated brand communications agency, today announced a number of senior management appointments that will be effective immediately.
Richard Perry has been promoted to the newly formed role of Chief Strategy Officer for the Gyro International network which currently comprises eight international offices. Richard has been Managing Director of Gyro International UK since 2001 and has been with the agency since 1995.
His role will focus on implementing Gyro’s one-brand network strategy across the globe and supporting the existing network office, as well as supporting Gyro’s international client base with insight driven strategy advice.
Matt Kitcherside has been promoted from Client Services Director to General Manager of Gyro’s UK office. Matt originally joined Gyro in 1999 following a successful career at Compaq Computers.
He will be responsible for the day to day running of the London office, which remains the largest office in the Gyro International network.
Gary Brine, CEO of Gyro International, said of the appointments: “Both Richard and Matt thoroughly deserve these promotions. Under Richard’s leadership the London office has seen spectacular growth over the past few years and the agency is now the fastest growing of all of the large agencies. The experience that he has gained running the London office will now be used to help our other offices to achieve similar levels of growth to drive us towards reaching our stated goal of being the largest independent agency network within the next few years.
“Matt is taking on one of the biggest and most exciting jobs in the UK agency sector and I know that, under his direction, Gyro will continue to achieve the combination of providing outstanding client service, innovative and creative work and the results to match.”
