Gyro International Appoints Mike Shinya as Chairman
14.06.05 - Gyro International, the integrated brand communications agency, today announced the appointment of Mike Shinya, 47, as Chairman.
Mike has some 25 years experience in the global IT industry. During his career he has held senior positions at IBM, Oracle, Baan Company and has recently been appointed CEO at Hyperwave AG, a German software company with an international presence. Prior to that Mike was CEO at Sherwood International PLC leading a successful operational turnaround and trade sale. In the earlier part of his career, Mike’s functional expertise was in the area of Sales & Marketing and whilst he has worked across many areas of the IT industry, he is best known for his expertise and views in software and services. Mike is one of only a few internationally experienced Technology CEOs who have run businesses in both the UK and Germany.
