Manchester Office Ranks in Top 20 Agencies Outside of London
04 February 2008 – Gyro Manchester has ranked in the Top 20 in a joint industry survey by The Drum magazine and the Recommended Agency Register (RAR).
Aimed at identifying the top 100 marketing services providers outside of London, the Manchester office ranked well at no.18, fighting off stiff competition from city rivals BJL, TBWA, Tangerine PR, Mere Communication Group and Cheetham Bell JWT – all long-standing stalwarts of the city’s agency scene and all beneath Gyro Manchester in the table. This is an impressive position considering the Manchester office has only been operating since its launch in November 2007.
This is the first fully integrated table to be produced by The Drum and RAR and the rankings were not compiled on figures alone. Researchers spoke to clients and also took into account significant aspects such as business efficiency.
Danny Turnbull, General Manager of Manchester said: “For our first foray into this list as Gyro, rather than Cicero, I’m very pleased with our position, especially as we’ve beaten a number of our traditional rivals. However, with our predicted growth and continued big clients wins, we’ll be pushing our team for the top 5 for this time next year”.
