Gyro strengthens its European Network

3 May 2005 - Gyro International, the integrated brand communications agency, has continued its strategic expansion strategy, responding to the growing needs of its international client base, by opening an office in Hamburg. This represents the fourth new office in recent months following openings in Stockholm, Amsterdam and Dublin.

Andreas Bodmann has been appointed as general manager of the Hamburg office. Formerly of Hewlett Packard and Foote Cone Belding, Andreas has extensive experience from both the client and agency side in delivering integrated communications programmes across EMEA. Previous clients include Compaq, Olympus, Samsung, CeBIT and Nivea. Andreas’ brief is to build a significant German operation for Gyro, delivering Gyro’s world class creativity and proven methodologies to both new and existing clients.

Gyro, now the UK’s largest business-to-business agency, has offices in eight international locations including London, San Francisco, New York and Geneva with several more locations in the pipeline. Gyro’s aim is to provide its international client base with a ‘one brand’ experience - a unique and consistent differentiator ensuring its clients competitive advantage.

Gary Brine, CEO of Gyro International, comments, ‘This is our first office opening since the investment into the company that we announced in February. We are selecting locations that best suit the needs of Gyro’s clients and further opportunities are being considered in Paris and Madrid.’
