Client Services Director

Reporting to: General Manager

Job Purpose

To directly take ownership for, and manage a nominated set of accounts and a team, ensuring that revenue targets are met whilst maintaining profitability.

To support the new business team in securing new accounts.

  • To ensure that all current day to day account projects are delivered in a professional, timely and cost effective manner.
  • To anticipate client needs and exceed client expectations for all ongoing projects and new business opportunities at all times.
  • To manage and facilitate client entertainment as required.
  • To clearly identify and pursue new business opportunities for the organisation in conjunction with the New Business Team.
  • To manage a team of Account handlers including managing absence and performance e.g. conducting performance appraisals, interviews, disciplinary hearings.
  • To produce accurate sales forecasting on a weekly basis and provide a monthly report to the General Manager.
  • To work closely with the General Manager to allocate and monitor team and external resources on a day to day basis.
  • To ensure that any issues which may have a negative impact on the business are addressed and highlighted to the General Manager immediately.
  • To demonstrate a clear understanding of Integrated Brand Communications - the aims and main objectives of the Business.
  • To provide strategic and tactical direction to accounts and to the business in line with General Manager.
